2018-19 National Treasures Basketball General Information

Possibly the most hotly anticipated release of the year, 2018-19 National Treasures Basketball will yet again dominate the hobby world when the most sought after Rookie Patch Autographs (RPAs) of the year drop. There is no doubting how high this product sits on the ladder of NBA products with only Flawless providing competition to the frenzy that comes with this release each year.

The strong 2018 NBA Rookie Class means that the RPAs from this product will continue to be highly sought after and command high value on the secondary market. It is expected that the RPA set will once again feature the Base (/99), Gold (/10) and Emerald (/5) vertical RPAs and the horizontal set is likely to feature the Base (/49) and Bronze (/25). It is highly likely that a First Off The Line (FOTL) release will occur again this year which would mean that the Special Edition (/15) RPAs would also be included as part of the set.

If you find a Luka Doncic RPA /15, /10 or /5 you can probably sell it an buy a new car! That being said the RPAs of Trae Young, DeAndre Ayton, Marvin Bagley, Jaren Jackson Jr or Kevin Knox to name a few will still command a high value as well.

Outside of the RPAs there is so much more on offer from this product including:

  • The NBA Finals Nameplates featuring game worn jersey pieces from players during the 2018 NBA Finals
  • Logoman and Logoman Autographs of both Rookies and Veterans
  • International Treasures Autographs
  • Colossal Material Autographs, especially the prime variations typically numbered to 25 or less
  • Treasures Tag Autographs of players such as Kobe Bryant, Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller and Steph Curry
  • Personalized Autographs return with each 1/1 card featuring a unique inscription

National Treasures Basketball really does speak for itself and despite the price tag has so much to offer collectors. The array of amazing cards available in the set means each box has a very high chance of holding at least one high value card, one of the main reasons it appeals to so many collectors.
