2018-19 Prizm Basketball General Information

With out a doubt 2018-19 Prizm Basketball is one of the most hotly anticipated releases of the year, with the hysteria that always surrounds the Silver Prizm Rookie Cards that have taken the mantle as Rookie Refractors for NBA players. The set makeup this year is almost identical to previous years with the only real change being the introduction of the ‘That’s Savage’ insert set. Outside of that expect the spectrum of the rainbow to be found in the different parallel prizm variations, meaning that chasing a full set from 1/1 to base is an almost impossible task!

Each box will hold 2 autographs and 22 prizms with the autographs typically stickers however last year a variety of big names had on-card autographs. It will be interesting to see if this plays out again in the 2018-19 Prizm Basketball release. There’s no doubt that people will be chasing the Silver Prizm Rookie Cards but the lower numbered mojo (/25), gold (/10) and black (1/1) are always big ticket items. Coupled with this a variety of other variations that are exclusive to a particular product type including First Off The Line (FOTL) with three coloured prizm variations #’d /7, and green prizms in the retail and blaster products. It also appears from the checklist that a Fast Break product will again be present this year but that has yet to be announced.
